Managing your meds can be challenging! No one understands that better than Hedva Barenholtz Levy, PharmD, a geriatric pharmacy specialist and author of Maybe It’s Your Medications. Dr. Levy will discuss important safety aspects of prescription and nonprescription medications and explain the best ways to prevent medication-related problems. Even if you only take a few pills daily, mark your calendar!

Learn the answers to tough questions about bigotry, hatred, and misinformation with ADL Heartland’s Regional Director, Jordan Kadosh. As the local office of the Anti-Defamation League, ADL Heartland is making a difference every day! This program – part of our “Fighting Bigotry & Hatred” series – is co-sponsored by ADL Heartland, Jewish Community Relations Council of St. Louis, Mirowitz Center, and National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis, and is provided in conjunction with FEL (Friends Enjoying Life), an organization supported by the Mirowitz Center.

Get Your Game On! (in person)

Back by popular demand – every Monday, from 10 AM to 4 PM, join us in the Mirowitz Center’s JCA Multipurpose Room to play Mahjong, bridge, poker, or Mexican Train dominoes – whatever you like! In addition to providing a beautiful venue, Mirowitz Center will provide complimentary coffee, tea, and water. You may also bring your own snacks to enjoy and share. No reservations are necessary for these weekly games, but please plan to coordinate your group’s schedule and any needed substitutions. (If you want game instruction or already know how to play but are looking for other players, feel free to drop in during game days to see what groups are available for instruction and/or need participants.) Game on!
