This House – Kathy Sitzer, Opera Theatre of St. Louis (free & in person)

Discover the haunting beauty of this world-premiere opera, set in a historic Harlem brownstone, that explores the depths of familial history over 100 years of one family’s residency. Kathy Sitzer, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis docent, will share the story, provide historical context, and feature excerpts from a previous collaboration between composer Ricky Ian Gordon and Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and her daughter Ruby Aiyo Gerber. This House, created by the same team, is part of the OTSL 50th Anniversary season.
