The Girl with the Silver Star - Rachel Zolotov

In acknowledgment of Russian Victory Day and in celebration of the human spirit in the face of adversity and challenge, join author Rachel Zolotov as she talks about her book and the story that inspired it. Rachel Zolotov was born and raised in St. Louis, as a first generation American born into a Belarussian family. Her family inspired her as an adult to research her family’s experiences during World War II, which is the basis of Rachel’s historical fiction novel, The Girl With The Silver Star. This program is provided in conjunction with the Saul Brodsky Library.
