German Youth Who Resisted – Fred Stopsky

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is observed annually on January 27, the date on which the Auschwitz concentration camp was liberated by the Red Army in 1945. Marking this solemn occasion, speaker Fred Stopsky provides a presentation on “German Youth Who Resisted in World War II.” German resistance to Nazism is not widely known, and this presentation is based, in part, on the speaker’s personal interaction with German educators in the 1960s and 70s.
