Alzheimer’s Disease is the most common cause of dementia affecting memory, thinking, and behavior and accounts for 60 – 80 % of dementia cases. The majority of people with Alzheimer’s are 65 years and older.
Jennifer K. Phillips, MPA, the Research Center Program Manager at the Charles F. and Joanne Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Washington University School of Medicine, provides an overview of Alzheimer’s Disease. She will discuss warning signs, symptoms, what to anticipate as the disease advances, and current directions in diagnosis and treatment.
