What’s New for Medicare Part D & Medicare Advantage Plans in 2022 – Wilma Schmitz, CLAIM

Wilma Schmitz, St. Louis Region Liaison and Trainer for CLAIM, the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP), shares this very important topic. Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period is the time of year when you can make changes to your Medicare coverage. Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period runs from October 15 through December 7, and any changes you make will take effect on January 1, 2022. The State Health Insurance Assistance Program for Missouri is called CLAIM. CLAIM has counselors trained and certified by Medicare to provide unbiased counseling to Missourians with Medicare coverage. CLAIM counselors do not sell insurance and cannot endorse any health insurance company or insurance plan. CLAIM services are FREE.
