Jessica Rockhold, Executive Director of the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education (MCHE), for a historical look through the lens of the exhibition, Auschwitz: Not long ago. Not far away. Auschwitz has become the international symbol of the Holocaust. It represents the peak of efficiency in the Nazi killing process in pursuit of what they called the “Final Solution to the Jewish Question.” This program is provided in conjunction with FEL (Friends Enjoying Life), an organization supported by the Mirowitz Center and is co–sponsored with the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum.
