Art Talk on Forgeries – Dale Sharon

 The Mirowitz Center will be hosting an art talk around every six weeks by Dale Sharon. The October topic will be forgeries. Come learn about how some forgers are extraordinarily talented artists in their own right, while some are just scoundrels. Whether schemers, geniuses or both, their stories are fascinating, as are the stories of some of the most notable, unusual art forgeries and art heists in history. For over 25 years, Dale has been a docent at the St. Louis Art Museum, where she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and is active on various Museum committees. Dale is also an exhibited artist whose work focuses on faces, and her work is found in many private and public collections in the St. Louis area. Click here to view the recording.
